Atlanta Picture Dump

We went to Georgia. We stayed a while. I took a ton of pictures.
Funny story: We finished dinner at Chipotle and headed to the car for a night of driving. Before we had a chance to say otherwise, Cole was changing out of her clothes, eager to get into her pajamas. I took two pictures then hurried to cover our little princess.

ProjectTEN | March

This is my third ProjectTEN post. On the tenth day of the month, a group of ten female photographers each post ten personal pictures. Thats all there is to ProjectTEN.

Unlike previous months, I took all the pictures over two days. The last two days, actually. I didn't plan it, that's just how it worked out. The girls and I are in Georgia visiting my in-laws and soaking in the early spring weather. When I saw snow in the forecast for Delaware last week, I made the decision to take the dogs to camp, load the car up, and head out of town early. We're having a blast visiting Peter's family. The girls love playing with their cousins and hanging with their grandparents. In a week or so, I'll post a more plentiful lot of pictures from the trip.
Now go check out the ProjectTEN work produced this month by these awesome lady photographers:

If you are in or around the Mid-Atlantic and are interested in booking a session with me, I'd love to help you out. Please enter your contact information here. And if you would like to see more of my daily life, check out Instagram where Cole and Ibbie are the stars.

Purple Party

Cole was very specific with her third birthday requests: a purple party with all of her friends, a purple cake, and a big purple ball. Girlfriend is in her purple period! I went to Walmart and bought every purple decoration I could find. We ordered a purple cake from Sweet Melissa and they went wild with the idea of making the cake as purple as possible, inside and out. Cole was over the moon.

Cole had such a blast playing with her friends at our house. We put out some toys and I covered the kitchen table with paper so the guests could color. Our balloon decorations quickly became part of the party entertainment. The kids had a great time tearing them down, then running in circles with balloons in tow.

Singing, cake and candles were possible the highlight of Cole's day! She was so pumped to have her friends sing to her and then eat purple cake.
(When I play hostess I LOVE for someone else to take on camera duty. Nearly all of the pictures and the sweet video were taken by our friend. Major thanks to VTCarter! )
