Puppy Dog Eyes

Lily has been on sedatives for a few days post-op. While in her drug induced state she got the better of an ink pen. The evidence was left on our carpet, our bed, and, of course, our puppy. Pictured is her reaction to the much needed late-night bath.

Backyard Treasure

Since the day Peter and I moved into our house, we have been discovering all sorts of odds and ends in the backyard: toys, glass, tiles, roofing materials, Mardi Gras beads. Most recently we found the monster toy pictured. It is possible that rather than actually clear the trash when the old house was condemned, it was all covered in a shallow layer of dirt waiting for discovery.

Gunther and Lily

For Christmas 2007 Peter and I got a sweet Boston Terrier puppy. We named him Gunther then spoiled him. His twice weekly trips to DOGS RULE! convinced us he needed a pal. After a failed attempt at rescuing another Boston, we found a Great Dane/Pointer puppy at a local shelter. In Feburay, I took Gunther to meet the puppy. Thirty minutes and sixty five dollars later, I was driving home with Gunther and Lily.
